Winning the European Youth Olympics in 2013
My mum put me into gymnastics as I was quite a hyperactive child and she wanted me to burn some energy. My preferred discipline is all-around. I train 32 hours per week. Superstition is visualisation. Injuries include three stress fractures in my back, resulting in missing three months of training. Most influential people are my dad and my coach. Hero is Epke ZONDERLAND (Dutch gymnast who is 2012 Olympic and two-time world champion, 2013, 2014, on the high bar) for his lack of fear and his bundle of courage. I am competitive and ambitious. If I wasn't an athlete, I’d do something with media and travel the world. My favourite food is spaghetti and meatballs.
