Winning 4 gold medals at my first British Age Group championships at age 11
Was introduced to competitive swimming from learn to swim lessons. My preferred discipline is 200m breaststroke. I train 20 hours in the pool and five hours of dryland training per week. My superstition is to clap when I get on the starting blocks. Most influential people are my parents - they have supported me at every turn, win or lose. I am most proud of my bronze medal at my first international meet in 2014 in Holland. My hero is US Olympic champion Michael Phelps - his quotes say it all: ‘You can't put a limit on anything - the more you dream, the farther you get. "Swimming is normal for me. I'm relaxed. I'm comfortable and I know my surroundings. It’s my home". "If you want to be the best you have to do things that others aren't willing to do". If I wasn't an athlete, I'd study more. My favourite food is pasta of all kinds."
