Additional information / What would you like people to know about you?

I started swimming lessons at the age of five, taught by Gail Rizzo and my aunt who both represented Malta in the Games of the Small States of Europe on various occasions.

I eventually progressed to the junior squad within Neptunes WPSC and competed on a regular basis for many years at time trials, age group meets and international meets organised by the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta.

I decided to dedicate myself totally to water polo in 2010 (but also swam competitively in the Berlin Christmas Age-Group Swimming Meeting on two occasions).

I started water polo training at the age of seven with Charlie Mock at Neptune's WP Nursery and eventually moved up the ranks to play with the junior teams under the guidance of coaches Guzi Attard, Ian Azzopardi and Dorian Pisani.

I captained my team to victory on two occasions, as well as performing with winning squads on a yearly basis in various age groups with Neptunes' WPSC.

In 2013 and 2014, I was selected by national coaches Karl Izzo and Anthony Farrugia to form part of the preparatory squads for the eight-nation U18 tournament held in Brno in 2014, which my team won.
