Competing at the 2014 European Junior Championships where I won a silver and bronze medal
I have always enjoyed swimming. I lived in South Africa where we had a pool, but I didn't have any lessons there so when we moved back to the UK I went for lessons to improve my stroke at my local pool and progressed from there. Favourite Olympic memory is Michael PHELPS (USA) at London 2012 Olympics. My preferred discipline is the butterfly. I train nine- 17 hours weekly. The coaches at City of Leeds have been very supportive both in the pool and out, providing help and advice on nutrition and physio when I have needed it. Most proud of being selected for Team GB at the 2014 European Junior Championships. Hero is Jemma LOWE (GBR) and Michael PHELPSD (USA) because they are amazing butterfly swimmers. If I wasn't an athlete, I would have more time to concentrate on my school work. My favourite food is pizza, pasta and chocolate cake.
