Joris started his BMX career at a young age, winning a few of his first races. He took his time to be one of the best riders in the world. In his first season as a professional, he won the bronze medal at the World Championships in South Africa. After that, he had the best season of his career so far in 2011 winning every race he entered: French champion, European champion, World champion and World Cup overall winner. Since this 2011 season, Joris is one of the fastest riders in the world, staying on the podium at the World Championship every year and having other wins all other the world. The only medal missing is the Olympic Games one - which is one of his major goals for the next two seasons.
