Going to the Netherlands for European Juniors last summer.
I saw my local club training after my swimming lessons every week and thought I would give it a go. Favourite Olympic memory is Michael PHELPS (USA) winning his eight gold medals in Beijing. First Olympic memory was Kelly HOLMES (GBR) winning her double gold in Athens. My preferred discipline is backstroke. I train nine times each week in the pool for two-and-a-half hours each session. My most influential person is my mum; she has always supported me by taking me to training and watching all of my competitions. Most proud of winning British nationals for the first time last year and also becoming double national champion in the same year. My hero is Ryan LOCHTE (USA) - he was always second best to PHELPS (USA) but continued to improve and has now beaten him in many events.
