Winning National Age Groups with my 15/17 team, we were all really good friends and it was amazing to achieve the gold together.
I participated in swimming and dancing from a young age. It was my swimming instructor who suggested that I join a synchronised swimming club, because it's kind of a combination of the two. My international debut was at the European Swimming Championships in Berlin. My preferred discipline is team. I train six days a week, for 20-25 hours. Superstition I have is to jump around and shake out my arms and legs before walking out to an event, I feel like it stops me from getting too nervous. My most influential person is my coach Jenny GRAY (GBR); she began coaching me towards the beginning of my synchro career. She helped me to catch up with swimmers my own age because I was a late starter. I would have never been able to keep achieving my goals without her influence. I was really proud to be selected to represent Great Britain at the recent European Swimming Championships.
