At the age of 16, Rory has moved from his family into Limerick to train with the High Performance squad as swimming is his dream. This is a big achievement for him and it is very challenging at such a young age as he organises his life to get to training at 0430hrs and from there to school. He has had to change schools in a new city, leave friends, family and home.
