Being the first team from the south of England to win the national age group championships in 2012 and again in 2014.
Having competed in swimming I wanted something more challenging and with a greater team aspect. I enjoyed the competitive nature of the sport and the team camaraderie. My superstition is to that I prefer to wear hat number 8. Most influential person is Peggy ETIEBET - senior GB player. As a fellow club member she has helped coach and mentor me since I joined Otter SC. She is a brilliant role model as she demonstrates that hard work, commitment and perseverance equals success. I am most proud of obtaining my first international cap playing a tournament in Germany. My hero is Paralympian David WEIR (GBR), who is from my home town of Wallington. He is an inspiration due to his dominance within his sporting discipline and his commitment. If I wasn't an athlete, I’d have a career in engineering. This will be the first European Olympic Games and as we no longer have UK funding for the Olympics, this will be the most prestigious event to take part in. It will also mean competing against the best teams in European water polo.
