Playing in the LEN League for Liverpool. Being able to go over to Germany to play in a friendly 4 Nation tournament against Germany, Holland and Serbia. In this tournament we came second overall.
I was influenced by my family as all played water polo. My international debut was at the ASA British Championships in Manchester Aquatic Centre. Favourite Olympic memory is the Opening Ceremony in 2012 and watching the GBR ladies play. Most influential person is my dad because he is my coach, but not only that; he's the one that influenced me in taking part in the sport. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be where I am today. He is very supportive and pushed me to be my best. I am most proud of winning the ASA British Championships Senior Women's Water Polo for Liverpool. My dad is my hero because he inspired me to take part in water polo. He is very determined and will never give up at something he started, hence the reason why he has been playing water polo for over 40 years. If I wasn't an athlete, I'd I would spend time with friends, focus on my exams and just do what any other 16 year old would do. But I would be a part of some sort of sporting activity, athletic (javelin) and carry on swimming.
