Additional information / What would you like people to know about you?

Damian was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and went to Spain when he was five years old. He began his sports career at the age of six, winning several national titles in the kids' categories. His first continental title (European champion) was in 2002 in the youth category. One of the best moments of his sports career was in 2004 aged 19, when he won the national championships in three different categories: youth, senior and university. He also went to his first European championships and won a silver medal. That year he finished the season with a 5th place in the world championships. After not competing for a few years, he came back strongly in 2011 and again won a silver medal in the Europeans. Now Damian is in his prime, winning three gold medals and one silver medal in the last two European championships, along with the gold medal in the last world championship in Bremen. Throughout these years, Damian has studied and graduated as an aeronautical engineer.
