After one year she stopped doing karate, and at 11, she started playing the sport that she fell in love with - volleyball. At 15, she had competed with her first senior team, Rapid AIBO Bucharest. and won her first gold medal After two years, she joined Stiinta Bacau, a team where she developed as a volleyball player. She played for this team for four consecutive seasons, winning three medals (two silver and one bronze). Then she joined CSM Bucharest, but it was just a short trip.
