I started karate at six. My parents decided to enroll me in karate because I was nervous and I fought all the time someone bothered me. After six months of karate, I had my first competition and I lost because I didn't remember my Kata. My mother told me that it was my fault. I was so ashamed. That's why I swear to never lose again. This was the case for five years.
