Olympic medallist Bulimar leads Romanian Gymnastics team

Olympic bronze medallist Diana Bulimar will be leading Romania's Gymnastics team at Baku 2015.

The 19-year-old Bulimar, who won Artistic Gymnastics Team bronze at London 2012 and is a two-time European Team champion, is the biggest name on Romania's 12-member Gymnastics team Along with Bulimar in Artistic Gymnastics are 15-year-old Laura Jurca, who won three medals at the 2014 European Junior Championships; the 16-year-old Silvia Zarzu, Team European champion in 2014; and the trio of male 2012 Olympians Marius Berbecar, Vlad Cotuna and Cristian Bataga.

Missing from the Romanian Artistic Gymnastics group is London 2012 Team bronze medallist Larisa Iordache, who also won 2014 world silver in All-Around and Floor but will sit out the European Games to take her school exams.

Romanian Gymnastics officials also named the country's Rhythmic and Aerobic teams for Baku 2015.

The 15-year-old Ana Luiza Filiorianu will be the sole Romanian rhythmic gymnast while the Aerobic team will be made up of Bianca Gorgovan, Lavinia Panaete, Lucian Savulescu, Gabriel Bocser and Dacian Barna.
