The supportership with McDonald’s will see co-branding within McDonald’s restaurants and marketing campaigns tailored to deliver messages about the inaugural European Games throughout Baku and the whole of Azerbaijan. In addition, McDonald’s will promote the European Games across Azerbaijan through in-store messaging, Games-related competitions, and a specially designed Baku 2015 European Games variety menu. The in-store marketing campaigns in all of the McDonald’s restaurants in Azerbaijan will reach out to thousands of customers per month.

The partnership will see Milla support the Baku 2015 European Games through advertising in more than 5,000 stores around Azerbaijan and by carrying the Baku 2015 logo on all of their products and staff uniforms. The Milla brand offers Azerbaijan a range of premium, healthy and innovative dairy products, which match the European Games’ high standards. Their products will be available at Baku 2015 competition venues via ice-cream vans and will further support the European Games with an extensive television advertising campaign. The Games will be an amazing moment in the history of Azerbaijan, and Milla are proud to be to a part of the journey to a sporting event that will be enjoyed by the whole of Europe.

Sitecore, who specialize in bespoke content management and digital marketing technology, will provide support to the Baku 2015 web team as the countdown to the inaugural European Games continues. With a detailed focus on each of the 20 sports and 18 competition venues of the first European Games, the new Baku 2015 website has already been visited by fans from more than 130 countries around the world since its launch on 21 August. Sitecore are internationally renowned for their ability to create and manage websites of the highest standard and to have their support is a huge boost to the web team here at the European Games. Tickethour will supply its state of the art ticketing software system and management team to enable Baku 2015 to sell tickets to the Games. It manages the sales of several million tickets per year and has proven successful in providing ticketing services for major global events.
